Risk Management & Compliance Inspections

TrueNorth qualified inspectors, document and inspect structures within NFPA guidelines and standards, ASTM building codes, and any other codes and standards that may apply to the property location. This could include any structure involving fire systems, safety systems, and building systems, as well as inspection of the grounds and buildings, including but not limited to:

  • Fire safety systems and apparatuses

  • Emergency exits

  • Egress Plans

  • Roofing systems

  • Alarm and Monitoring systems

  • Backup power systems (generators, battery supply, etc...)

  • Vent hood suppression systems

  • Documentation of state and federal safety licenses

  • Collect all documents related to safety, emergency, structure, and inspections of property

What does each inspection include?

On initial inspection, the certified inspector will photograph the interior and exterior of the structures and/or property. We will inspect and identify violations according to NFPA 101, Life Safety Code, NFPA standards and codes, and ASTM Building Codes. TrueNorth Administration will gather necessary documentation of safety systems, building permits, blueprints, and past or present citations or violations. TrueNorth will provide a written compliance analysis, identifying the violations and proposing recommendations for remedies.

If any severe violations are reported, TrueNorth will recommend a full inspection from a system specialist. TrueNorth will conduct follow up inspections as requested by the client, once the violations have been addressed.
